This coin sure has taken a beating. It seems to me that lower denomination coins get worn down and damaged faster than any other coin in a country (except British pounds). I suppose they are the least liked and therefore the least cared about. However, there is one good thing about this coin. It is worth $0.10 and I have 3. The picture below shows where the mint mark is. It's a bit hard to see in this picture.
