Trivia Answers!

The answer was 18, people. Two people answered, both said 19. So I think I'll hold off on trivia for a while. Maybe two weeks, possibly more. In the mean time you can expect more coin posts!

MCB Trivia Answers!

Only two answers this past week and on an easy question. The answer was 1942, both got it right. I'll make this new question super easy and see what reactions it gets. Now, I command thee to vote!

Trivia Answers!

The question this week wasn't really a question at all. I asked you, the viewer, to sum up my "193?-M Mexican 5 Centavos!" post with a short comment posted on the newest post. I got 2 "OK"s and only one comment. Thanks to Coin of the Realm's author, Daniel Ptashny, for answering. Now go vote on the new question!

MCB Answers!

Well, one person answered the trivia this week with the correct answer which was Copper. All right, all right, no clicking links, I get it. I'll make this one harder but actually on the blog, rather than somewhere else. It's also going to be different from past week's/month's trivia. Be sure to answer!

MCB Trivia Answers!

Ooooh some variety. This week I got four answers, one being A. None and the rest being C. 200,000 which was the correct answer. Not much else to report except the fact that I got quite a few nice coins yesterday. Be sure to vote on the new trivia question.

MCBT Answers!

Last week's answer was All Of The Above! It's true, I got all of the above coins for what I consider a bargain. They're all nice coins that I didn't have before (excluding the nickel, of course) that I got for below their values. All four of you that answered got the correct answer and participation is down from the last trivia. So all of you that did not vote need to go and vote on the new trivia question or else you will never see the light of day again! Not really but you should seriously go vote!

MCBT Answers!

Again, another survey-like question. All 6 people who answered are indeed excited about my flea market finds and can't wait to see all of them. And I can't blame them! The new question will definitely not be a survey and will be about my flea market finds! See what it is and vote!

MCB Trivia Answers!

Last week's question was more of a survey than trivia. I noticed that my "1961 Republik Osterreich 1 Schilling" post was getting 5-10 views per day so I decided to see of that was what the majority of people were coming for. I got three answers and all were no. From that I could conclude that no one came for it, but since it it still getting around 5 views per day, that would not be true. Anyway, go vote on the new trivia question!

Also, I got some new coins and good deals at the flea market yesterday. Expect some good posts soon!

MCB Trivia Answers!

So, when I asked if anyone was excited about me showing bills, the majority of you were not. 3 of the 5 people who answered were not, while the other two were. From those results I have concluded that I might show a bill every month or so if I can. Now go and vote on the new trivia!

1927 Canadian Cent and Trivia Answers!

Now that the Canadian cent has had it's life support cut off, it will soon see less and less time in circulation. With the hoarders and government aggressively recalling them, some people may give them grotesquely large price tags because of their newfound "rarity". Therefore, it is wise to avoid dealings with anyone who claims to have a "XXX RARE CANADIAN PENNY" unless it is known to be rare. If you still wish to attain issues of the Canadian Cent, do not fret. Most of them are still relatively cheap and will be for the foreseeable future. This is because there have been 35 Billion of them made since 1908 when the RCM opened. They will still be in the $0.25, $0.50, and $1.00+ junk bins at coin shows and flea markets which is where I got the above coin. It's worth about $3.00 and is, in high grade, an exception to that "XXX" rule above. Still it's not much to get excited over unless you find one in circulation. I got it for between $0.15 and $0.20 as it was in the "$0.25 for 1; $1.00 for 5" box and I got a few freebies.

On to trivia! This week's question was "What coin did I feature on December 30, 2012?" and the answer was "Bahama Islands 5 Cents". 5 people answered, all with the correct answer. In other words participation is up from last week! Thanks guys! Be sure to vote on the new question!

Trivia Answers!

Last week's question was different from the others but still pretty easy. The answer was "h" which was the 2nd letter in the 15th word.

Check out the new poll and vote!

MCB Trivia!

This past week's question was pretty easy. The answer was 11-20 for the three of you who voted so, yes you all voted for the correct answer. I have decided to make the new question a bit harder. Check it out and see if you are up to the challenge of... counting!

MCB Trivia Answers!

This past week I put up a question that I had not answered before and three ridiculous answers to help shed some light on the real one. The answer, which one person voted for, was "2009 Guam Quarter" which has been eluding me for a few years. I'm pretty sure that means I have at least one of each of the 2009 Territories Quarters now! The only one of the ridiculous answers people voted on was "1955 Double Die Cent" which got two of the three votes. You jokers! A new question will be up so go vote!

MCB Trivia!

After an absence of a few weeks the polls are returning! That means more weekly voing on random-ish questions I ask you! But that's not all! If you scroll down or hit the Home tab above and scroll down you'll see a coin post dated- you may or may not have guessed it- TODAY! Out of the goodness of my heart, and the shortness of this post, I decided to make a coin post as well! Here's how to- just go read the post and vote!

MCB Trivia (Answers)!

This week I gave a question that was almost impossible to figure out. The correct answer was D. Ancient which had 2 votes. The other vote was for A. Colonial which is a type of coin I wish I had. Funny how an ancient coin can be bought for $12.00 and it takes 5 times that to buy a decent colonial coin. I'll be posting the ancient sometime in the near future and I'll have a new poll up soon! Go vote!

MCB Trivia (Answers)!

Another week, another closed poll! This week's answer was 10 Pence which was the only voted for answer with 5 votes. Here's the cool part: I didn't vote this week! That means more participation from you, my viewers! Hopefully I can make this week's post more exciting because the last one was pretty boring.

By the way, if you haven't already, you should vote in the MPCC on Numista. The sub rounds have all been voted on but the finals are coming up! Go ahead and register to vote and let your coin-loving voice be heard!

MCB Trivia (Sort Of)!

The poll closed today with the question "Now that the $0.01-$10.00 series is done, what should I do?". Three People voted and none of them were me this week. Two said to show more random coins from my collection and one said to show some bills/bamknotes. So Since I recently aquired a bunch of new coins and bills I'll be doing both! Be sure to vote on the new poll too!

MCB Trivia (Answers)!

Another closed poll with three answers this time. Again one was mine and I answered after the other two had. The question was rather easy with the correct answer being "Gold Dollar". Everyone who participated chose the correct answer which wasn't that hard to find. A new poll starts today so go ahead and vote!

My coin Box Trivia! (Answers)

The poll closed today with two votes, one being my own. The correct answer was the one I selected or Kennedy Half Dollar. To be fair I selected it after the first answer so it wasn't like cheating or anything. Thanks to the person who voted and as for the rest of you non-voters please consider taking 5 seconds of your time to click a random asnwer (or a good answer if you have a good memory) or if you seriously want a good answer go check! I'll only make questions that have answers that can be found here on my blog that's why it's My Coin Box trivia! Have fun and VOTE!
