Workers of all countries, unite! (Soviet Union 1933 20 Kopeks!)
I'd been needing an old Soviet coin and a few weeks ago I got one. This is the coin and while it's dirty and worn, it sits as one of my favorite coins. I love how the older Soviet coins are more full in design. They're much more appealing than the ones minted from the 60's - 90's. They also had propaganda on them. Like the U.S. has "In God We Trust" they had "Workers of all countries, unite!" among others. Many of these coins were made, but they must have had a rough time in circulation because this coin is worth about $2.00.

1962 Soviet 15 Kopecks!
Ah, Soviet Russia. The place where everything was opposite. I mean just look at the denomination on the coin! Now it's just Russia and everything is back to normal. This coin is from that backwards, up-side-down, crazy place and it seems to have picked up some dirt along the way. Other than that, though, it is in at least AU. It features a hammer and sickle over the world and inside a wreath on the reverse and a space-age but plain design on the obverse. It's worth about $0.30.

1961 Russian 20 Kopeks!
Got this for I don't remember how much at the flea market. All I remember is it was cheap. It's a pretty nice coin and the only Russian coin I have. The only problems are the damage on and near the final 1 in 1961 and some wear. It's nice how the hammer and sickle are over the globe too bad for them it didn't work out. From what I understand CCCP stands is an abbreviation for the Soviet Union. I'm guessing that's wheat on the obverse and reverse on the sides. Other than that there's really nothing special to point out about the design. Oh and this is worth about $0.30.
