1941-S Large And Small "S" Nickels!

Got this coin a few days ago in my change. At first I thought it was a very good looking 1944, but a check of the date and above the dome revealed it was a 1941. After I looked at the date and above the dome I checked the far right where the mint mark is and instantly recognized the wide or large S. The only reason I knew it was wide was because of the coin below. It is my 1941-S small S. Click it to get a better look. It almost looks like a D because it is so worn. They're pretty nice finds being so old. Too bad they're both only worth $0.20-$0.30 although, I did get a good deal getting them for face value and all.

  1. Nice nickels! I don't think I have either variety, but I could be wrong!

Anyways, I looked through your page and did a search and noticed that you don't have any Thai coins, if you're interested, I'll send you some, I have plenty! Like in the thousands, plenty! And if you wanted to, if you had excess of some coin type (except US/Canada - I have too many of these too) let me know! In fact, just email me your address and I will send you some next week!

I will send you these from the current series of Thai coins. I'll try to give you something in UNC if I have it loose, most of my stuff is either in a flip or rolled up and in my safe.

-Well, if you find one, all you have to do is wait two years and one will find its way into your pocket.

-No, I do not have any Thai coins as of now. There are never any at the flea market for some reason and I have pretty much given up on finding any Asian coins in my change. I may be interested depending on what exactly you've got.

-I don't have many extras as I try to keep away from them, but I'll see what I've got.
