1979 Belgian Franc (French Text)!

Another flea market buy, in fact I probably got it with that other Belgian Franc I posted. This one's a bit bigger in diameter less thick. As you may have noticed this coin and the other one have different designs, this one with a woman on the fron and a plant, and crown and the other featuring the king. Not sure why they decided to use his image then since he'd been the king since before this coin was issued. Anyway it's worth about $0.10.

1990 Belgium 1 Franc (French Text)!

Notice how the title says "French Text". Belgium is made of French-speaking and Dutch-speaking people so they issued coins with both languages. The Dutch text is actually more common, but not by much so it's not odd to get this one. It's a pretty simple design and there's not much to say other than it's worth about $0.20.

1916 Belgium 5 Cent Coin

Got this at the flea market a few weeks back. The reverse says Belgique Belgie 1916 and has 5 Cent in the middle. It is heavily corroded and is thus worth only $0.10.
