Got this semi-familiar looking coin as a gift about a year ago. Can you guess why I said semi-familiar? If you guessed something with Susan B.Anthony Dollar in it you are correct. There are also some other coins you could've guessed but that is what it reminded me of that I was most familiar with. It reminded me of the Susan B Anthony Dollar for two reasons: 1. It is round but has many sides around it on the obverse and reverse. 2. It also has a reeded edge like the Anthony Dollar. In 2001 Argentina stopped minting these 1 Centavo coins. Many 1 Cent coins from many countries are disappearing these days. Australia stopped minting their 1 cent coins in 1991 and some European countries have stopped minting 1 Euro Cent coins because they were too small and a nuisence. Canada recently stopped minting their cents and will end distribution of them later this month. Now that I've spent a half hour writing this this coin is worth $0.05.
